The Director of Information and Eligibility oversees all Eligibility for School Readiness (subsidized) and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten enrollments and Information Systems within the Agency.

The Management Information Systems (MIS) unit consists of the information systems specialist and provider data technicians. They are responsible for maintenance of the agency interface with the state-s child care EFS system. This unit must meet all federal and state data collection and reporting requirements, process monthly child care attendance data and transmit calculated provider payment data to the accounting unit.

Services Include:

• School Readiness and VPK provider attendance processing
• Post-payment audit review of child care providers
• EFS (the state's data collection system) and accounting system interface maintenance
• Reporting
• Contracted child care funds monitoring

Voucher Department / Attendance and Payments:

• Processes child care attendance data submitted by child care providers.
• Answers all questions related to attendance and eligibility of children or providers for payment.
• Processes amounts required to be paid to providers.
• Performs post audit visits to check provider records.
